ABSTRACT

Print media is the source of communication and giving its services from early ages.

Print media never loses their significance in any era but innovation of new technologies such TV, Radio, Online journalism and other sources of information has become challenge for print media in 21st century.

This research has been conducted on the perception of journalist about print media in which sample of population selection were 50 respondents those are journalists of Hyderabad city.

All material has been compiled in three chapters.

Chapter first is about introduction of the problem and brief history of print media, something about new technologies, how they are affecting print media. The researcher also justified the research in the light of mass communication and review literature by various researchers.

2nd chapter consist of data analysis. Data collect through survey from journalists has been analyzed in quantitative manner through tabular presentation form as well as brief description about data.

The researcher gave conclusion with useful suggestion regarding the topic in third chapter.

4th chapter included references and bibliography of books, journals and websites, which were helpful for the researcher to accomplish this study.

Over all analysis proved that hypothesis is correct, as there is bit changes in the perceptions of the journalists.
