This question indicates why teenager adopts quickly? In this regard 80% respondent said catching age 8% said immaturity, 6% less awareness and 6% unawareness.

Suggestion:

  • The drama with bold contents and dialogues should not be aired on such peak time, when audience usually watches television along –with their children.
  • Such type of study should be conducted in detail both in rural and urban areas. Ordinal position of females, children, family, some psychological variables like media related attitudes, believes, etc.

Conclusion:

During the data analysis the hypothesis that formed by the researcher of this study has been proved correct. The topic is that “the cultural impact of Star Plus drama Kasauti Zindagi Ki on uneducated teenagers”.

After the research of this study, the researcher concluded 90% respondents watch television, 50% respondents prefer prime time, 96% respondents prefer Star Plus, 80% respondents agree with Star Plus shows unreality in its serial, 96% respondents watch drama Kasauti Zindagi Ki, 94% respondents agree with this drama shows heavily its rituals, and it is affecting culturally through language and 80% respondents said teenagers affecting quickly because of catching age.

After going through the percentage mentioned in data analysis it has been proved. Overall the analysis proves the hypothesis correct.

Research Tools:

Conducted survey through personal interview.

Type of questions: Close-ended “Yes- No” type questions for statistical analysis.

B: Variable Specification:

Independent Variables:

1. Star Plus Channel:

India’s number 1 cable channel for seven years, Star Plus dominates every entertainment genre and time band across the day. The channel features the top 40 programs on cable in India every week and regularly features 50 out of 50 top shows on cable. It is an independent variable as the impact of Indian culture; unreality and the teen-agers depend upon it. The change of the channel may causes variations in the following dependent variables.

2. Kasauti Zindagi Ki:

This drama is based on unreality. It shows widely its rituals. Basically, it is promoting fashion, commercialism and corporate culture. Its independency bases upon the following dependent variables.

Dependent Variables:

1. Indian Cultural Impacts:

Indian culture is largely affecting and disturbing Pakistani Culture. And teenagers turn their life style through Indian culture and Indian channels culturally impact to different ways, some times it shows Indian culture broadly and some times not.

2. Teen-agers:

Indian dramas affect specially uneducated teenagers because of unawareness or less awareness and day by day teenagers adopting Indian culture.13 to19 years age group are considering very sensitive, adopting and catching years of life

Teenagers quickly adapt to media what ever media shows either good or bad. They affect to media positively and sometimes negatively and also they change their thinking with the passage of time due to these variations this is dependent variable.

3. Unreality.

It shows every thing in fiction zed manner

Teenagers of Latifabad Unit No 8, Hyderabad

Sample Population: A sample population for this research was selected according to the random sample.

A total selected. 50 respondents (teenagers) .

Quantitative and qualitative content analysis to be applied to the fining and the analysis would also be incorporated
